Can I bring in books from overseas ? No it is against the Copyright Act to bring in books from overseas. Australia is still a closed market for books.

My campus bookshop says it 'non-profit' but has higher prices than Encompass Infoshop - why is that so. After 12 years we still don't know - after all if you don't pay tax you have a huge competitive advantage over us. These 'non-profit' bookshops should do the right thing and let us take over - after if they are really 'non-profit' wouldn't they want the best for the students ??? We have some great letters from idiots who work for "student unions" who claim that we are harming students by selling books cheaply.

Can my parents come in buy my books with out me ? Yes they can however they must have the same surname. Alternatively they can fax details of the books needed, copy of ID and credit card to us for you to collect.
